Snow! Like it or hate it Memphis doesn’t get much of it. I love it (as long as the power stays on). So when we get a decent snowfall gotta get out and go walking around and see what we can get. Grabbed my fancy boots and GFX50 with the Hasselblad lens and went on a walk. It was cold but once you get going you don’t really notice it anymore. I’ll be selling my medium format camera so it was nice to get one last trip out of it. Enjoy.
San Diego got a historic amount of rain when I was there last week. They got more rain in one day than they get in 3 months. So needless to say the weather was awful our whole trip. At first I was pissed cause I didn't get to enjoy sunny and 80 degrees every day. But like all things this turned into an opportunity. So got out the Leica and shot black and white around the city. Very dystopian and wet which you do not get to see in San Diego at all. So here are a few frames from that walkabout in the rain.

Got out the day after our awesome snowstorm and did 6 miles around the neighborhood capturing all the wonderful landscapes. Black and White photos taken with Fuji X100 and everything else is iPhone 12 Pro.
We are in the middle of a once in a lifetime snow event here in Memphis. Around 8” of snow is on the ground and I love it. So I took my Fuji X100 that I have dedicated to a black and white camera and took it around the neighborhood to get some shots in the sun and snow.
